Responsible to:      Service Delivery Manager

Purpose of Post:

We’re looking for an experienced and highly organised Administration Officer to ensure the smooth running of a Big Lottery Funded health and wellbeing project.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the project delivery team and will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient and effective administrative processes and procedures.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist the project delivery team to coordinate rolling training programmes in St Helens and Knowsley.
  • Booking venues and preparing equipment and materials for training sessions.
  • Develop and implement robust administrative processes and procedures to ensure the efficient delivery and monitoring of the project.
  • Organise and coordinate meetings using online calendars and monitor training course booking systems.
  • Taking minutes and preparing agendas and papers for internal and external meetings.
  • Maintaining paper and electronic records in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
  • General administration duties including: filing, photocopying, answering telephone calls and taking messages.
  • Replenishing office items and project equipment
  • Managing project petty cash.
  • Coordinate the work of administrative apprentices who support the project.
